The day before our holibags...oohh how slow can a day go by??

Today was a boring day, we woke up at 7 as Cameron always wakes up early.

I had breakfast and danced to Jade before my mum and dad arrived.

Dad took cameron for an hour while mum helped tidy flat and then they swapped over and dad helped tidy flat.

I then had lunch which was a cheese toastie and a cup of soup. I then did some more website creation.

I relaxed until dinner and had a yummy microwave meal and a yoghurt for pudding.

In the evening I did some more dancing to jade and I packed cameron and I's stuff for our holiday.

Once cameron was in his bed I relaxed in bed infront of the laptop and put on a movie.

I cant wait until we go away as Ive not been on holiday in ages.This will be Camerons first holiday as well :)

The Zoo

Today I went to the zoo with Karin and Cameron.

I woke up at 7 with cameron and did a bit of tidying. At 8 I had cereal for breakfast then danced to Jade for half an hour.

Karin arived at 11 and we stopped off at asda to get our selves a packed lunch. We arrived at 1230 and had our lunch as we were walking around. I love the zoo and aquariums. Animals are just sooo interesting to watch.

In the evening we were naughty and had a KFC for dinner.

I got home at 730 and Cameron went to bed at 8.

In the evening I watched a movie and relaxed. Also had a bath then went to bed.

It was a good day today, I really enjoyed myself and our holiday is fast approaching!! Woop Woop!!

My boring wednesday, bring on university!!

Today I got up at 7 with cameron and did a bit of tidying and had cereal for breakfast.

At 11 I left the flat with cameron to go to job centre as I had a back to work interview, we get them every 6 months when on income support. After my meeting Cameron and I went for lunch in kilmarnock and I had a baked potatoe and he had a cheese sandwhich.

We then headed home and I did some more tidying and danced to jade for half an hour.

For dinner I had a yummy fish pie, it was really nice and a yoghurt for my pudding.

In the evening I watched a movie and relaxed.

Today I got up at 10 had breakfast which was a bowl of cereal then tidied up livingroom and kitchen.

After that I had a bath, got dressed and tidied up both of the bathrooms. I went out to get food shopping to last me the rest of the week.

When i got home I had lunch which was a cup of tomatoe soup and a we ice cream.

After lunch I tidied up camerons bed room then he was dropped off home.

I played with cameron for a bit then we had dinner at 5 which for me was a chicken pasta thing. it was really nice.

After dinner I played with my website as I have decided to make it a personal one as I dont have what it takes at the moment financially or enthusiasm to create my own online business. Maybe one day though?!?

After website faffing I put put Cameron to bed and danced to jade for half an hour.

After jade I went to bed.

Balloch!!

Cameron is at his grans until tuesday, Karin and I dropped him off at 530. Once he was dropped off Karin and I headed up to Balloch as we heard from her friend allan that there is more up there than we expected. I also managed to do 35 mins of jades DVD and 15 minutes of the other one. Legs are sore again but it is worth it, they wont be sore in a few days time. I just need to get used to the exercise.

Today I ate nothing for breakfast (like usual) then had a weight watchers meal for lunch and dinner was KFC. I managed to control myself though so wasnt anything too much. Im doing so well at the moment.Go me :)

Karins friend allan met us at a park and we went for KFC then we went a drive up loch lomond way which was good apart from fact it was raining.

In the late evening karin and I went home and had a few drinks, it was a fun night.

My goal is that by the next time I see my grandparents in kilmarnock again I will have lost about 8lbs. :)

Pink Concert

Today I was at the pink concert with Karin, it was her birthday present from her parents. It was great fun I really enjoyed myself. I also danced to Jade for 30 mins and the other DVD for 15 mins, my legs were killing me afterwards. 3rd day in a row though, go me :)

Today I never had breakfast then for lunch I had a weight watchers hotpot and for dinner I had stuff from asda also had some junk from asda in the concert too. Pink was amazing, I've not been to a concert in aggesss!!

Pink came out from a ball that was held up in the sky which was amazing and she also ran around the audience in a ball. The support acts were also quite good too. All in all the night was fandabby dozey :P

Dinner with dad, had quite a productive day!!

I had a Doctor appointment today for a lump ive had on my back for 3 weeks now. Everyone said it was due to stress at first and the doctor said it was an absess (it was a boil but got infected and then became an absess) so she gave me antibiotics 2 weeks ago. I took them and the pain went away and it shrank but a week after the antibiotics were finished it was still there so went to the docs again.

Today my doctor said it was a sabatious cyst which means that the sweat glands on my back got blocked but the sweat still built up and a lump was created that at one point got infected. The antibiotics got rid of the infection but the cyst wont go away itself, it needs surgically removed so I have been referred as an out patient to crosshouse hospital to get it done.

Anyway enough icky business!! Today after my appointment I went home and I got some important business sorted out. Im now starting summer school on the 9th august which i think will help me with the transition from college to university and will help with my chemistry. I cant wait. I also have a few nursery numbers to phone on monday but I ran out of time to call them today.

I walked too and from the doctors and I walked too and from my mum and dads so all in all i walked about 40 minutes work possibly 50 minutes worth and I also did 30 minutes of jade goodies dvd on my own and 10 minutes of the other dvd before my legs got too sore.

I had pancakes for breakfast, a weight watchers meal for lunch and a chicken kiev with beans on toast for dinner at my dads. They dont have much food in the house as it is shopping day tomorrow.

A bit like me really i dont have much food in the house either, but only got £20 to my name until I get my next cheque in the post for housing benefit. Hopefully it will arrive on saturday or monday.

I dont think I did too badly today with the food and I did pretty well with the exercise too. Go me!!

Out with gran.

Was out with gran today :) it was fun

I never had any breakfast and I gutted the flat in the morning for Gran coming over.

Gran arrived at 1130 and we went to hers where we had chicken with ginger and lime and a side salad, I ate everything. Including the side salad.

After lunch we sat about for a while then went in the car to Dobbies garden centre (formally dykebar) in paisley and I had a cup cake and a diet coke.

Gran then dropped us off at the flat and 10 minutes later Karin arrived. We heated up some of my grans home made macaroni cheese and had that for dinner. Her mac n cheese is legendary!! Its by far the best I've had to date.

After mac n cheese we then had pudding which Karin brought over. It was ice cream.

About an hour after dinner we danced to jade goodies dance aerobics DVD for 35 Min's and also danced to another aerobics DVD I have for about 15 mins then also danced about to random music for about 25 minutes. We were exhausted and now my tummy hurts as I think we started dancing waaaaay to early after eating!!

It was a fun night though. Wonder if the food I ate was too much and I've put on weight or if the exercise I did makes me lose weight or at least counter balances it.

Tomorrow will be better.

Been a while...

Hello :)

its been a while because ive had easter break then i was ill then i had another holiday (only a one day one but because it was a long weekend it felt like it should all be holiday time) so ive not really dieted but...

I have started dancing along to wii fits just dance songs the last 2 nights and plan on doing it every night for an hour as it is fun. so far i did 16 dances last night which lasted just over an hour and tonight i did 10. Its great as it is exercise but i enjoy it so it doesnt feel like a chore.

Back to college tomorrow and im skint so it is back to healthy eating so hopefully with the healthy eating AND the dancing at the same time the weight should (for the forst week or so at least) start pouring off me :)

Day 2

Today I studied then went shopping for food then studied again then went to see grandparents so been a busy day with all the studying i got done...

food wise...

Online today i found some information about working out how many calories to eat per day to lose 1lbs per week and it says i should have no less than 1,200 and no more than 1,400.

Breakfast:
Bowl of frosties (120 calories)

Lunch:
Baked Potato with cajun chiken mayonnaise and some chopped up carrots (350 calories)

Snack:
Fruit scone (220 Calories)

Dinner:
Heinz macaronie cheese and a slice of toast and a weight watchers pudding (520 calories)

Night time snack 1/3 of a packet of microwave popcorn (130 calories)

In total 1,350

Im completely stuffed. Also just finished my 3rd pint of water will prob have a 4th before bed time.

think i need to fit some pieces of fruit in there and maybe cut the calorie intake by 150 calories per day too.

Any ideas or advice on where to buy real popping corn kernels, the kind you pop yourself in a pan? It would make it a much healthier snack.

End of day 1


Today was day 1 don't think I did the best I could though definately done better than I have the last few weeks anyway so I am proud.

Breakfast:
I didn't have breakfast as I forgot to eat it (most important meal of the day too, shocking!!) so that is 0 calories of my 1,200.

Lunch:
Went to my grans for lunch and had home made soup (about 150 calories maybe??) then ciabatta with olive oil vinegar and small tomatos (god knows how many calories...100 for the bread, 20 for the oil 15 for the vinegar and not much for the tomatos so about 150) and a yummy yoghurt that was definately 150 calories as i checked.

I randomely snacked on tasty bread through the day with no butter or marge. about 100 calories for that.

Dinner:
Baked potato and cheese (apparently 190 calories)

Karin and I went to cinema so I had a weight watchers pudding which is 195 calories usually as I looked them up on tescos site last night and a smaller than usual pick n mix so about 350 calories there (that is the could have done better part)

in total I have had 1,285 ish which is only 85 more than my target for the day which is good considering I was out for lunch then went to the cinema. yey me :) so all in all a day well done.

My starting weight and my target!!


I weighted myself at 730am nekkid like your supposed to :P and to conclude my stats are:

Height: 5'2
Weight: 12 stone 2 lbs (170 lbs) :-O

which gives me a BMI of 31.1 (overweight starts at 25 and obese starts at 30) this is not good!!

My target is to have a bmi of 22 which means I need to lose 49 lbs to get me to weigh 8 stone 9 lbs (121 lbs). At 1.5 lbs a week if I stick to target every week and don't deviate from it, I should be at my ideal weight in 33 weeks (just over 8 months). I need to allow myself a treat from time to time, so I will make my target 10 months.

To summarise I am 5'2 with a BMI of 31.1, to get to my target BMI of 22 I need to lose 49 lbs and I have given myself 10 months to do so.

I need your help!!

Hey everyone,

Emma MacVicar here, I need your help in losing weight. I am planning on using this blog to tell you all my personal stats and will put pix up and stuff so that I have motivation to lose weight. I will set goals and post them on this for everyone to see and that way I am less likely to just think ah well the diet can wait another day as I wont want everyone to see me failing to lose the weight. Its kinda like my own personal support group :) feel free to leave messages and comment on stuff etc. I will weight myself first thing tomorrow and get a picture to put up of me tomorrow too and it will start from there.
